Canada
This week, I learnt a lot about different kinds of areas in Canada and how the tribes survive there regions. I thought that it was very cool to see a canoe being made and that was almost like how the tribes made it then.
I found it difficult to understand how the tribes manged to cut down trees in order to build houses because did they only have spears?
Question:
After the buffalo jump, how do the tribe preserve the meat? I thought that they didn't have any refrigerators at that time.

Good entry, Valerie. I think that the tribes didn't only have spears. They should have other weapons to cut down the trees, because I don't think spears will cut trees that well. Also, I don't really understand your question. What does "After the buffalo jump, how do the tribe" mean? Maybe you forgot to finish it off? Still, good job overall! :)
You wrote what you learned and what was difficult =]
I agree with Michelle about the spears part. I think they might have sharpened big stones to saw things. Hm, for the buffalo, I think they'd cut and salt then dry the meat and save it for later. Like smoked buffalo. I wonder if that tastes good...
Ok..... Thanks :)
